Croissants de Lune
Acrylic On Metal Plate Layered With Resin Epoxy
18" x 12"
Croissants de Lune is part of a collection named Metals.
Metals is a new collection created in May 2021.
It is an experimental way of using acrylic and resin to create depth and movements, like waves moving towards you, all layered on a plate of metal, whether aluminum or basic metal.
If the aluminum has the particularity to stay as bright as on its first day, the metal reacts to temperature, heat, and humidity. This organic reaction is fascinating and makes my art piece consistently shifting with time and elements.
Those pieces have also a special hanger at the back that gives the impression that the art is floating from the wall.
