When you look at "Family", it is a four-piece composition that belongs to the same space, like a family. With its gray background and its bright turquoise and copper, the colors are vibrant. But still, you can feel the real softness that the shiny resin brings to the piece.
The edges of the painting are not treated-birch wood (like the panel itself) to give a raw effect to the piece, in opposition to the very worked main surface that is covered with resin epoxy as a varnish. The resin gives a shiny and glossy look and the entire composition gives the painting a modern, sleek and mysterious enchanting look.
